Designing and creating an effective website is only the beginning. As an integral part of your business, your site should always be fresh and exciting.

A website is a long term commitment just as your business is. Visitors to your site expect current information. It requires diligence on your part to keep it current and to promote your products in an effective and innovative way.

You'll need to give some thought to how your website will be maintained. You have a few options. You could do the updates and/or changes yourself. Will you take advantage of a maintenance contract from a designer? Or, a little of both?

PDC uses the software application Microsoft FrontPage for website development, although not exclusively. You can purchase this application and install it on your own computer. However, just a word of caution, you must be familiar with working with computers, word processors, servers and some Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). Some of your pages may also use other  programming languages or applications to achieve the effects or content you want on your website. Your website can even be designed so that you can update it through your browser.

Maintenance contracts are available and can be customized to fit your needs. Specific updates or changes can be done at an hourly rate also.
